FACT: No one ever "asks" to be sexually assaulted. Victims of sexual assault report a wide range of dress and actions at the time of the assault. Even when someone flirts, they always have the right to say "no" to sex. The term "ask for it" blames the victim for the assault and is used by the offender to excuse criminal behaviour. |
