Emergency Service: 24 hours, 7 days a week through the Emergency Department, Mississagua Hospital.
|
Medical Follow-up Clinic: Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Counselling: Available at both Mississagua Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital Sites, Monday through Friday by appointment.
|

|
- Care provided to men, women and trans* who have experienced a recent sexual assault and/or domestic violence.
- Children under the age of 12 years who have been sexually abused/assaulted.
|
|
Adults:
- 24 hour nursing response through the Mississagua Hospital Emergency Department.
- Crisis intervention and support.
- Assessment and documentation of injuries (written and/or photographs).
- Medications to decrease the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STI), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
- Emergency contraceptive pill to decrease the risk of pregnancy.
- Forensic evidence collection.
- Referral to community agencies.
- Safety planning.
- Outpatient counselling.
Children:
- Physical examination of children where there are concerns of sexual abuse.
- Provide a physical examination and a forensic assessment of sexual abuse concerns for children who have been referred by police and/or child welfare authorities.

- Interpreters available in multiple languages.

- It is not necessary to have police involvement to use our services.
- Medication for STI and pregnancy prevention is free.
- Services are confidential within the limits of the law.
